About Us
The Horsham Volunteer Centre was first established in Horsham Town Centre in 1980 and has continued to develop the service covering the entire Horsham District.
A voluntary organisation steered by a board of trustees and run by part-time paid and volunteer staff. Over 200 organisations and Community Groups are registered with openings of over 350 voluntary opportunities. With hundreds of enquiries each year, the Centre provides a link for volunteers in identifying voluntary openings to suit them.
The Volunteer Centre operates from a central office in Horsham Town. We are accessible to individuals seeking volunteering opportunities, voluntary organisations and community groups across the district. Our outreach service is provided through village enquiry desks, village action groups and local publications, all providing links to Billingshurst, Pulborough, Henfield and other surrounding villages.
